Our client based in Ashford are looking for a Junior Payroll Clerk to join their payroll team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is already working in payroll, is keen to work within a professional team and work with a reputable Firm in the Kent area.
This is an all-round role and would suit a junior payroll assistant who has worked previously in a fast passed environment.
You will be responsible for supporting a payroll manager in the following areas:
-Manage a high volume of invoicing/billing.
-Dealing with umbrella or CIS payroll preferred
-Knowledge of auto enrolment
-Clear understanding of manual PAYE and NIC calculations.
-Dealing with bacs payments
-Dealing with all documents inclining PAYE, payslips, sick pay, P11D`s, P45`s etc.
-Managing data and running reports
-Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
-Ability to work under pressure
-Strong ITC skills are key
You will be flexible in your approach and attitude. This is a friendly and experienced team so you should be able to sit conformably in a busy working environment and be able to demonstrate confidence and personality.
