An opportunity for an experienced manufacturing Buyer has presented itself to join an established hard-working team, responsible for all supplier management, working to procurement strategy and working to an ‘on time’ approach.

• Qualifications: Higher Level of qualification or equivalent experience, CIPS would be an advantage
• Previous Buying experience from within a fast moving, dynamic production, or manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of procurement including sourcing (UK & global), negotiation to a senior level and supplier management with a strong discipline in supplier cost avoidance.
• Solid vender management skills.

Our client is offering this role on a permanent basis and has a salary on offer of up to £35000 depending on qualifications and experience.
