The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a counterbalance forklift driver / yard operative for our busy client based in West Thurrock.
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
The hours of work are 06:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with overtime when available.
Pay is £9.16 for standard hours and £13.48 for overtime. Rate will increase once offered permanent contract.
We are looking for some one with forklift experience, that is looking for permanent work and is able to work well within a small team.
Duties will include:
> Loading and unloading vehicles
> Picking orders
> Sorting stock and putting it away in the warehouse
> Operating counterbalance forklift truck
> Manual handling
> Working in the warehouse and out in the yard
Due to the clients location and the start time, this job would be ideal for people who live locally or have their own transport as public transport links are limited.
We have an immediate start available for the right candidate.
