A fantastic opportunity is available for a Mortgage Underwriter to join a rapidly growing and successful specialist mortgage lender.
My client are seeking someone who has the passion and the drive and are ready to interview immediately. Established and successful business, offering brilliant career development long-term.
As a Mortgage Underwriter you will be assisting with the underwriting of Residential and BTL cases, underwriting simple cases and assisting with complex cases.
The Underwriter is responsible for underwriting mortgage applications in accordance with the lending policy. It is expected that you will maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge and apply the highest standards of risk based underwriting at all times.
Super Starting Salary - from £30,000
Free Parking on site
Temporarily working from home, but must be fairly local to the area.
Excellent career prospects.
Day to day you will......
To assess, analyse, underwrite and process all new buy-to-let mortgage applications from receipt of application through to offer of loan.
Required to maintain service levels whilst ensuring the company's credit policy and procedures are adhered to.
You must have.....
A minimum of 1 years underwriting experience preferably within the Buy to Let market, although residential or commercial markets can be considered
