Clinical Quality and Governance Lead

Up to £40,000 Per Annum

Our client, who has Clinic Excellence at the heart of everything they do requires a Clinical Quality and Governance Lead. Clinical Quality and Governance team provide the mechanism to enhance the quality of clinical care that it is delivered and to implement changes in practice to improve clinical care throughout the organisation.

This role will support the Director of Nursing to drive continuous quality improvement in all aspects of our business.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with compliance with CQC and UKAS standards
* Systematically review information systems that support the clinical quality/clinical governance agenda

* Prepare relevant documents for CQC and UKAS registration/accreditation as necessary
* Ensure effective information systems are maintained and that action plans to achieve compliance are produced
* Provide training and education to staff in clinical audit, audit tools and report writing

* Ensure compliance to standards in respect of all legislative requirements, including but not limited to CQC, SHE, DSE, Fire, COSHH, BLS, Manual Handling, Safeguarding Children & Adults, Information Security and Infection Control
* Maintain safe working practices and adhere to clinical risk management policy and recommendations.
* Proactively assist in audit and quality assurance programmes.
* Adopt the correct administrative procedures when dealing with complaints from patients/relatives following set policies and procedures

It is essential you have experience in the clinical environment and have the right set of communication skills to deal with relevant stakeholders.
