Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps). This is a superb opportunity to join one of the South East’s leading Software Houses. They are established, successful technology business with a superb reputation as an employer of choice amongst technologists. In this role you will manage Core development and delivery systems such as TFS. Manage builds, deployments, and configurations in production and preproduction environments. You will deliver a seamless CI/CD solution on premise and on Azure. Automate operations tasks to minimize manual steps to enable continuous integration and ultimately continuous delivery.
The technology stack is predominantly a Microsoft environment working on web application development in the cloud. You must have the following: Experience of working in Microsoft Azure and Azure Resource Manager. Minimum of working knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI, Release, ALM) or TFS. Knowledge of CI and CD recommended practices and supporting tools. Strong programming and scripting capabilities in Powershell and Powershell DSC. Ability to build projects, run unit tests, run automated test framework within a CI system.
