We are a long established steel fabrication company looking for a Works Office Engineer from a steel fabrication background.
You will need to demonstrate good knowledge of steel fabrication terminology together with ability to evaluate the feasibility of customer’s designs, problem solve and communicate this on a technical level.
Using your skills, you will be conducting site surveys, quoting to client’s requirements, managing projects from start to finish including producing technical/fabrication drawings on AutoCAD, cost management, ISO 9001:2015 and BS EN 1090 compliance.
The ability to liaise with clients and give valued engineering advice are all very desirable skills.
Shop floor fabrication experience in this industry would be an advantage but not essential and you will hold a full driving licence.
Salary negotiable according to ability and experience.
