Leading communications specialist is looking for Billing Manager. Reporting to the commercial manager the Billing Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Company billing activities, including generating customer invoices, dealing with billing queries and disputes, maintaining billing databases and management reporting.

This role would suit an experienced Billing Manager who has worked in a similar role with the below knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:

Overview
You must also possess very strong communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, be analytical, able to work under pressure, be well presented with a flexible positive attitude and have good, proactive problem-solving skills.

The role would suit a keen, hardworking motivated candidate who wants to further develop their billing career within a dynamic, growing and ambitious company.

Ideally, degree qualified in finance or business-related subject and any relevant billing or commercial qualifications would be beneficial.

Any experience in implementing new billing systems and processes would be an advantage

Personality:
Self-driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on attention to detail.

A natural thinker who critically assesses own performance.

Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined.

Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.


Presentation:
Well-presented and business-like.

Keen for new experience, responsibility, and accountability.

Able to get on with others and be a team-player.


Specific Job Skills:
Able to empathise with the customer and diffuse difficult situations.

Able to correctly analyse the nature of customers' billing problems/issues and to determine and formulate the appropriate solution(s) to the resolution stage.

Able to think laterally and creatively re. Customer problems, whilst using a structured thought process.

Considers the impact of decisions made upon the customer and the company. Capable of building a rapport with the customer.

Appropriate communication skills to provide clear and concise, understandable telephone and e-mail support, with literacy and numeracy skills to complete work activity logs.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer skills:
Must have excellent SQL and Excel skills and be very adept in the use of other MS Office and have a good knowledge of provisioning and diagnostic tools and systems.


Communication Skills:
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business commercial reports.

Ability to create reports.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
