Are you an organised individual who has good attention to detail? Can you demonstrate excellent customer services skills and an ability to take the initiative to solve problems? If so, we would welcome your application for this full-time ongoing role in the Division of Arts and Humanities at the University.
The post will see you providing accurate and efficient general clerical support to the Directors, senior management and academic colleagues, working under supervision to assist with the smooth running of the Division.
As Clerical Assistant you will:
work along with the PA to the Directors to provide a confidential clerical service to senior managers and facilitate their work
provide efficient facilities management services to facilitate the smooth running of the Division
provide committee servicing support under instruction
greet visitors to the Division in a friendly and professional manner ensuring they receive an excellent customer service.
To succeed in this role you will have:
GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent
good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a range of people at all levels
good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
