Clark James Recruitment are working closely with this leading Insurance claims business who have an exciting role in a brand new team there where you would be employee number two so will have a chance to help grow the team from scratch working closely with the head of legal.

The company are ideally seeking a litigator (paralegal/ legal executive or junior solicitor) who has experience of Claimant side work, handling property damage claims. They would also be willing to consider someone from the Defendant side with either property damage or personal injury experience. Either way they are looking for at least 3-5 years of relevant experience so please don’t apply for this unless that fits your background.

The role and responsibilities:

• To handle the conduct of litigation of claims arising under Motor and Household policies
• Liaising with insurers, their policyholders, third parties and suppliers, as necessary.
• To maintain the portfolio in an efficient manner to ensure that you are working effectively and delivering a market leading litigation service with excellent customer service.

In order to be considered for this role you will need the relevant experience and some legal qualifications such as a law degree or legal practice course. You will have an understanding of court procedures and litigation management.
