Barker Munro recruitment are seeking outgoing individual with insurance experience to work within the busy new business team of this long established, independent broker based in Tunbridge Wells.

The role will involve specialising in non-standard motor insurance solutions including convicted drivers, taxis, driving schools and motorhomes. You will have a panel of over 30 major insurers to use in order to find the very best deal for customers.

As the New Business Sales Advisor your role is primarily about managing client communications to provide a high quality of customer service, which increases the Company’s reputation and boosts sales. You will strive to maximise the sales revenue generated by providing good customer service through clear and accurate information and upselling where appropriate.
Within this role you will be required to efficiently respond to enquiries from prospects, clients, brokers and underwriters received in a courteous and helpful manner. Obtaining accurate quotations using the quotations system, rating guides or by referring to insurers. Completing the key task of “fact finding” to identify clients’ requirements and to provide a quotation to fulfil their needs.

The hours of work are 9 -6 pm Monday to Friday and 9 -3 working one Saturday in every 3.

The commission structure is uncapped so there is excellent potential to exceed the OTE.
