The Opportunity
Do you have an interest in data analysis, pricing, reporting and databases? Do you enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting? If so, this role is a great opportunity for you to get started in the world of Business Intelligence.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you would be empowered to provide intelligent thinking to help support all aspects of the business in maximising profitability, as well as governance and controls within Back Office. This key role covers a wide range of daily tasks which support the Business Intelligence Team and the wider business.
The role will involve:
Administration of data to maintain our Financial and Operating systems.
Helping to produce and develop daily/monthly/quarterly reports.
Maintaining data and ensuring controls for changes are followed, for example pricing authorisation for audit purposes.
Managing the creation of new products, suppliers, panels etc.
Maintaining a large pricing database at customer level to ensure visibility of discounted pricing for the Sales team.
Governance of data provider, Customer, Hub and Searchflow pricing across the different layers of pricing.
Ensuring smooth onboarding of new customers into the company across, products, pricing, commissions and understanding their business models, entities and systems.
Monitoring and taking primary responsibility for the Business Intelligence Inbox.
Troubleshooting business issues.
About You
If you’re confident, highly motivated and numerate with strong communication skills. Inquisitive and analytical with a strong work ethic, then this is the role for you! You will also have/be:
Degree educated or equivalent would be an advantage but is not essential.
MS Office experience – particularly Excel is highly desirable.
Ability to work at pace.
Keen to develop and grow
Excellent organisational skills
