Hays Recruitment are recruiting for 3 Full Time Relief Scheme Managers and 1 part time Relief Manger covering Dartford, Tenerden, Hawkhurst, Dover and Ramsgate, for this role you must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

* Effectively manage all aspects of housing related services to provide a high quality housing management service to tenants.

* Monitor and action low level rent arrears cases in accordance with West Kent's policies and procedures.

* Take ownership of the scheme Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and responsibility for ensuring their achievement and reporting to timescale.

* Build positive working relationships with the care providers, cleaning, catering and facilities management contractors to ensure tenants receive a seamless service.

* Develop and maintain a varied activities programme which links in with the local community and encourage tenants to support their own activities.

* Implement any required health and Safety and fire checks for the scheme.

* Deliver an excellent level of service to customers ensuring that their needs are met.

* Ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with in line with West Kent's policy.

* Maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information you come across in the course of your work, ensuring professional boundaries are adhered to.

* Act in accordance with West Kent's commitment to equality and diversity by treating everyone with respect.

* Ensure that colleagues and customers experience you living West Kent's values.

* Undertake any additional duties that may be required to meet the varying demands of West Kent and deliver a great service to our customers.



Knowledge Skills and Experience


* Desire to work in Extra Care with a good understanding and knowledge of the issues facing the Older Persons housing sector.

* Experience of delivering excellent customer services.

* Able to use Microsoft office packages. Confident using new or bespoke ICT systems and databases.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor written and verbal communication to suit individual needs.

* Demonstrate ability to analyse and prioritise workload and be able to work under pressure.

* Ability to build relationships and gain trust while maintaining professional boundaries.

* Ability to make confident decisions in any situation using sound judgement.

* Takes practical, solution focused approach to solving issues in a timely manner.

* Highly motivated, resilient and able to work on own initiative.

* Experience of working towards team goals and key performance indicators.

* Commitment to applying equality and diversity to customer service.

* Experience and understanding of the ways to work collaboratively with different partners and Stakeholders to achieve joined up solutions.

* Appropriate level of fitness to be able to respond to emergency situations and key aspects of the role.

All applicant must have an enhanced DBS or be happy to have one done. You must be willing to use you private vehicle as mileage is paid for.
