Bookkeeper/Accountant

Based in Birchington

£25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Our client, a recycling and scrap metal yard based in Birchington, are currently looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will come from a scrap/recycling background and have experience using Sage and Fred Software.

This salary for this role is between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Reconciling the bank accounts
* Producing VAT returns
* Purchase ledger, Sales ledger and Credit control
* Staff payroll
* Complete supplier payments
* Management reports
* Assist with year-end audit
* Other accounting duties



Personal Specification



* AAT qualified
* Experienced in the use of Sage
* Experienced in the use of Fred software
