JOB TITLE: Customer Service & Sales Consultant

LOCATION: Folkestone

SALARY: £18k+uncapped commission

HOURS: 42.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8am-5:30pm, with free parking and 20 days annual leave plus Christmas closure

This opportunity is extremely exciting where you will work as part of a team of 5 motivated and outgoing Customer Service & Sales Consultant.

ROLE OVER VIEW:

As a Customer Service & Sales Consultant you will act as a liaison between the business and a customer in order to establish trust, increase knowledge and drive more sales for the company. You will be responsible for new business development, maximising sales opportunities and offering customer service for products, providing input as necessary to the future development of both the area and Company. Particular emphasis will be placed upon developing new business, utilising available intelligence, building relationships, influencing the decision-making process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Generating leads and turning them into opportunities for sales - for both inbound and outbound calls
* Contacting potential customers via telephone, email or social media
* Providing potential prospects and customers with information about the business, services and products
* Contributing to the customer experience by selling the story, inspiration whilst living the Brand - we love this element to the role!
* Building up a customer's profile, collecting data to be used as part of the sales process
* Effectively promoting the products and helping in the customers decision process of what brand, service or experience they are looking for
* Demonstrating a consultative and value add logic to optimise sales conversion
* Inputting data into a CRM and manage tools to schedule in follow up calls
* Working to KPI's and revenue targets as set by the Sales Manager
* Identifying opportunities for new business within the market
* Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
* Building long term relationships with new and existing customers
* Ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed effectively
* Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross sell

REQUIREMENTS:

* Previous experience of working within a similar customer service/sales role is essential
* A passion to provide excellent customer service on every call
* A desire to generate new business and achieve/exceed targets to earn some excellent bonus!
* An interest in researching and learning sometimes technical products
* Confident at negotiating
* Extremely organised individual, you will be able to respond efficiently and effectively to any demands, managing and prioritising your workload to ensure that your work is of the highest standard
* MS Office experience
