Key responsibilities would include order processing, customer service, administration duties and warehouse management.
This would be a varied role of an Apprentice Commercial Estimator, to helping within the warehouse and general administration duties.
The Estimator Role would include using specialised packages such as CAD, full training will be provided. The individual would be required to read drawing plans/elevations, window and door schedules from our clients. Once the client’s needs have been tailored, the individual would be required to send enquiries to suppliers, checking the detailed specifications are correct. Inputting of the technical orders into the specialised window software, ensuring that orders are accurate and correct prior to processing. The role would also involve general adhoc duties; such as answering the telephone, photocopying, etc.
The work within the warehouse will gain knowledge of the product and the industry, tasks would involve checking for damaged or missing items, moving stock around and processing returns.
Desired skills
Computer Literate- knowledge of Microsoft Office, AUTO CAD, Order Processing
Knowledge of the construction industry
