My client, a well know name within the produce industry, is now looking for a Machine Operator / Maintainer - 9 month contract role initially.

You will be an experienced Operator with the skills to maintain the equipment, calling in a maintenance engineer when necessary.

The role: Machine Operator / Maintainer - contract role

Help set up machines, identifying issues and problem solving on machinery, all within your reasonable capabilities

Cleaning of equipment to keep it in optimum condition and maintain and monitor machine to make sure it is functioning properly.

Complete daily maintenance checks and keep records of any break downs and record accurately.

Help improve efficiencies and reduce machine down time

Assist the Line Leaders to achieve optimum line performance

Assist in new projects and procurement of new equipment.



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Machine Operator / Maintainer - contract role

Ability to work as part of a team

Assisting others and offering advice or guidance are also important in this job.

Time management skills

Problem-solving skills

Ability to multi task

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently

Troubleshooting skills are important.
