We are looking for someone to assist in the process of manufacturing chestnut fencing products. The successful applicant would ideally have previous experience from a labour-intensive manufacturing role, from working outside in a manual role or from within a timber production environment, however this is not essential. You must have a can-do attitude but also not be afraid of manual labour, working outside. The role has production targets that must regularly be achieved and this is encouraged with a bonus scheme for productivity above set levels. Bonuses of £20-30 per day can regularly be achieved with the right daily outputs. Candidates should be able to self motivate and able to work alone as well as part of a two man team.
The role has the potential to be a long term position with regular pay and is unlikely to be affected by local covid lockdowns due to the working environment. We will also consider candidates looking for a more temporary position. This would need to be made apparent during the selection process, although it will not be a factor in the decision.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm, and due to the rural location your own transport is required. Please email your CV/application to colin@cwpfencing.co.uk.
