Are you an experienced B2B deputy editor, or an editor looking for the next move?
We have a great opportunity for an Editor to join our team, running a successful international monthly magazine and digital offering in the packaging sector.
As Editor you will rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge of the packaging technology market, and be enthusiastic about growing the profile of your publication. We’re looking for an organised, motivated individual, who would be confident interviewing industry professionals and once the Covid pandemic allows, be willing to travel safely for our global publication.

Above all you will have excellent journalism skills, including writing, subbing and proof-reading.

You will be comfortable with the production process and meeting deadlines, and turn copy round quickly and accurately. You’ll be happy interviewing, news gathering, commissioning and managing editorial budgets. As well as writing news and features, you will work with the Digital Editor to develop the title’s weekly newsletter, website and social media.

Ideally you will be a B2B Editor looking for a fresh challenge, or an aspiring Deputy Editor ready for the next step in your career. Probably educated to degree level, you should have sound IT/social media skills. Experience of InDesign is useful. Your most important assets will be your passion, commitment and dedication to maintaining your publication at the forefront of news and editorial coverage.

This is a full time position. This is an predominantly an office-based role (we are currently working from home as per the government’s advice), so you must live within reasonable commuting distance of Gravesend.
