My client situated in Maidstone are looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Trainee on a permanent basis. This is an excellent role for someone who has passion for numbers, is currently studying towards a finance related qualification or has recent graduated from university. Full training and development will be provided while on the job and through study support.
Responsibilities will include:
-Recording and processing cheques
-Sending remittance advice
-Stock control, ordering and processing stationary requests
-Reconciling daily banking
-Filing invoices
-Supporting the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger function; assisting with reconciliations of the sales and purchase ledger
-Posting and scanning invoices
-Assisting with the Treasury function
-Participate in the rota for daily banking at local branch
-Maintaining petty cash and posting expenses
-Requesting copy invoice
Candidates should have a real eye for detail and a desire to work in an accounts department. This role will provide career progression and the opportunity to develop into a key member of the finance team.
