If so, then we would like to talk to you about our new Head of Business Operations role at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. This new and exciting role requires working with many other teams within The London Institute of Banking & Finance both in the UK and internationally as well with clients.
Professional Education represents over 70% of the Institute’s revenue and operates both within the UK and internationally. Specific income targets are developed in discussion with the Chief Executive and are approved by the Board of Governors as part of the Strategic Plan and annual Budget cycles. The postholder plays a leading role within the senior Management Team of Professional Education and will attend various internal and external committees.
The London Institute of Banking & Finance is a leading provider of financial education and has been at the heart of the finance sector since 1879. We have strong international links with offices in Abu Dhabi and Singapore and many overseas partnerships. Our professional qualification programmes have students from over 90 countries.
The focus of the role is to:
• Take responsibility for all the support services within Professional Education. Ensure Best Practice is implemented within the Customer services team to ensure customer expectations are met and existing practices are streamlined
• Help devise, implement and manage high quality tenders for new business opportunities. Take a lead in client and internal discussions once business has been won to ensure client expectations are met and the business is delivered.
• Prepare and present updates to the Professional Education Senior Team and LIBF Senior Executive Team
• Work with the Managing Director, Professional Education on the strategic vision of Professional Education.
• Ensure that the support for our membership offerings is delivered professionally.
The Post Holder will be an experienced Line Manager and will have responsibility for a team looking after often complex tenders and onboarding business together with programme management and a customer services team covering all areas of the Professional Education area.
You will be used to working towards revenue and cost targets and the role will also require you to work with many other teams within The London Institute of Banking & Finance to ensure delivery of client requirements.
This is a role with considerable influence in terms of positioning The London Institute of Banking & Finance with corporate customers and within the learning and development market.
External contacts will be with personnel at all levels within business and operation lines and Learning and Development Teams.
