Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School is looking for a committed and motivated Premises Operative. The full-time position will assist the wider Premises Team with the care of the academy premises, ranging from general maintenance duties including minor repair and refurbishment works, porterage and other duties, supporting the Site Manager in ensuring the health and safety and security of a busy academy. Applicants will need a flexible approach to working hours and duties, and may be required to cover the duties of other team members in their absence.

Applicants need to be trustworthy, reliable, hard working, physically fit and e able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills and an understanding of safe guarding. Previous experience of working with swimming pool plant would be advantageous, however training will be available to the right candidate.

Working with Leigh Academies Trust: As of January 2020, our Trust is comprised of 25 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 13 primaries and 1 special) educating over 15,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff.
