Growing and successful local double glazing company are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident individual to work in a small but busy office based in Maidstone.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person who is looking for a varied office role in a small and friendly team.

You will need good communication and computer skills with an adaptable attitude as you will be required to learn all aspects of our industry with a view to helping out where necessary in a small office using our industry based software package.

Key responsibilities:

Main duties will include recording accurate day to day financial transactions, PAYE, production of monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, petty cash, preparation of monthly CIS returns, VAT returns and liaising with our accountants, invoicing and arranging monthly Statements / remittance payment and more

You will also be required to carry out duties essential to the day to day running of the office such as answering the telephone, typing quotes, filing and ordering stationery.

Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll is essential for this position

Salary - £24,000.00 per annum

28 days paid holiday including bank holidays

Monday – Friday, no weekends, 40 hours per week but also negotiable
