JOB TITLE: Junior Customs Shift Clerk - *Career opportunity*

LOCATION: Dover

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Completing the day to day customs clearance work
* Completing the booking and delivery operations of deep sea containers
* Completing/amending freight bookings as required
* Arranging the stamping of T2L documentation
* Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required
* Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion

REQUIREMENTS:

* A willingness to learn customs procedures and principles would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
* Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
* IT Literate
* Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a busy team
* High attention to detail skills
* Ability to communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff

SHIFTS:

* Training will be for 3 months, working Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm
* Once training is completed, you will need to work shifts to support the 24/7 operation, 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am
