SECURITY OFFICER

Maidstone Studios, is not only the UK’s largest independent TV studios playing host to some household favourite shows, but a vibrant business centre with a wide range of prestigious clients. We are located close to the center of Maidstone – Just off Junction 7, M20

We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join and support our well established team.

Variable shifts – usually 40 hours per week.

£9.50 per hour + PAYE + Holiday is accrued and paid based on hours worked.

The ideal candidate – essential requirements
• Experienced in maintaining good relationships and interact with visitors, contractors, and colleagues alike. Treating everyone with courtesy and respect at all times.
• Relevant commercial/security experience.
• Able to work a variety of 12-hour shift patterns, mainly nights and weekends.
• Current SIA licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent awareness skills
• Have basic IT skills
• Attention to detail, proactive, and excellent time management.
• Flexibility
• Maintain good hygiene and grooming standards.

Role responsibility
To provide effective physical security to ensure the protection of Maidstone Studios buildings, staff and assets by
• Preventing unauthorised persons/vehicles accessing site
• Carrying out site patrols
• Monitor CCTV/Access control software.
• Respond to fire alarms
• Maintain the companies strict key control/ access processes
• Undertake regular job-related training
• 1st point of contact for incidents on site, including liaising with the management team and emergency services.
