I have just taken on a fantastic opportunity working with a well-established company on the outskirts of Dover, with over 20 years trading experience. Operating internationally my client provide a vital service to the logistics and shipping industry which, as a result of Brexit will continue to grow exponentially! Providing high levels of service alongside knowledge, professionalism and industry expertise they have built a solid client base within Europe and the around the globe, enabling them to continue to grow and prosper.

The company have recently taken on a number of new hires to help manage the increased workload and develop a new department within the business and are now looking for two experienced hires. You will be working within a small, highly productive team who help facilities over 2000 international shipments per month!

Duties will include:

• Liaising with clients via telephone and email.
• Building knowledge of shipments including size, quantities, destination, value and product information.
• Researching issues and guidelines regarding shipments – advising of potential issues and additional costs incurred.
• Creating customs and clearance documentation for shipments.
• Assisting with client enquiries and questions.
• General administrative duties.

This role is ideal for someone with an import/export background or with a great knowledge of logistics/freight forwarding solutions.

You will be a natural problem solver, a team player and with the ability to work well as part of a time towards a common goal. It goes without saying that you will need to have excellent communication skills, be confident and highly organised!
