Leigh Academies Trust are seeking a Junior IT Technician to join the centralised team at Head Office. The successful candidate will support and maintain all IT hardware and services across the Trust and you will support the school sites with any IT issues on day to day basis. Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate with non-technical staff members and students in a polite and concise manner, with the ability to prioritise work in line with SLA’s.

This is a permanent, full time position (37 hours p/w) offering a salary of £18,476 per annum + 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, starting as soon as possible. Please be aware that the role will require travelling between sites, therefore a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2020, our Trust will comprise 28 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 15 primaries and 2 special) educating over 16,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have one further secondary academy in development phase, due to open in September 2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.
