Our client operates a busy service station in Dover. They are seeking an all-rounder to join them through J & J Recruitment Solutions as a temporary agency worker on an ongoing basis to cover staff holiday and busy periods. Historically, agency workers placed with this employer through the agency have seen multiple shifts per week and the best candidates have moved on to full time permanent employment there.

The key focus is the role of Forecourt Cleaner, cleaning and maintaining the outside space and toilets. You should have experience as a cleaner and be able to work autonomously to keep these areas to a high standard. This is a customer facing role, so a good level of the English language is essential, as is being well presented and comfortable dealing with customers. You must be happy working outside in all weather.

As well as covering as a forecourt cleaner, you will also be required to cover other departments around the station, including tills, shop floor and the bakery. You should have previous retail, catering or customer facing experience and be flexible as to your job role within the services.

This site operates 24/7, all year round. This means that shifts will include both days and nights, weekdays, weekends and public holidays. You should be fully available and flexible as to your work schedule, which will be planned weekly in advance whenever possible.
