An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an established business based in the West Kent area as a Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Finance Director my clients is looking for an experience ACCA/ACA qualified FC to lead the finance team.

Duties will include:

- Ensure monthly management accounts are produced and consolidated within agreed timescales

- Produce annual accounts for the group and subsidiaries

- Conduct regular balance sheet reviews

- Perform regular analysis and reviews on cashflow forecasts

- Lead the year end process liasing with auditors when necessary

- Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled correctly

- Ensure that VAT returns are completed within agreed timescales

- Ensure that the Purchase Ledger function is structured efficiently

- Manage the finance department to ensure all staff understand their roles, reasonability's and importance to the business

- Conduct staff reviews and meetings when required

- Seek opportunities to improves systems and processes.

Suitable candidates will be fully qualified with ACA or ACCA with the relevant senior management experience to match.

You will have experience with consolidating accounts and ideally audit, though not essential.
