Senior Underwriting Assistant / Team Leader
- Permanent contract with a salary up to £35,000 + benefits
- Split between City office based and home working
An exciting opportunity to join a global insurer within their non-Lloyds platform. This is a hybrid role which will include supporting the Underwriting Manager with monitoring and reporting, managing 2 Underwriting Assistants and performing underwriting assistant duties for non-marine classes.
Candidates will need to be able to show a proven track record within an underwriting support role, together with strong MS excel skills. Experience of leading and managing a team is desirable, but if you can show that you have assumed these leadership responsibilities without the official title your application will be considered.
This is a key position within the underwriting division. As such, this role will suit someone who is pro-active, resourceful, adept at multi-tasking, able to devise solutions to problems and a confident communicator.
