ACCOUNT HANDLER/EXECUTIVE £35,000 - £40,000
City based Lloyds Broker is seeking an experienced Account Handler to provide support to an account director for Corporate clients assisting with visiting the various operations, collecting renewal information across all sites, collating this and preparing market presentations and collecting terms, also working through premium allocations.
In respect of Commercial clients, handle all aspects of the client's needs. Client meetings, broking etc

Client Management
Identify and manage client requirements in accordance with the terms of appointment
Build and maintain strong Client/Broker/Insurer relationships
Achieve a high rate of client retention through well-planned and executed account renewal management
Ensure there are sufficient resources to meet client day-to-day demands and escalates servicing issues to divisional management as necessary
Ensure that the standards of Client Service Charter are met at all times
No justified client complaints over provision of service

Document Production and Processing
Timely and accurate production of Market Presentations, Slips, Cover Notes, Debit Notes and Endorsements (or equivalent documentation) which comply with internal procedures and also satisfy the client requirements.
Review documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing

Quoting, Placement and Post Contract Alterations
Analyse and provide advice on risk and insurance issues, and then structure appropriate coverage for the insured's operations; exposure and risk transfer goals.
Produce market presentations which secure best possible terms for the client, but with full material disclosure to the underwriters.
Negotiate and obtain the most appropriate carrier, coverage and price for the clients' requirements.
Resolve subjectivities and warranties in accordance with client/wholesale broker/insurer instructions to secure underwriters' participation.
Negotiate agreement to post-placement changes, e.g. by contract endorsement.
Highlight any deficiencies in placing/underwriting operations and recommend remedial or corrective action

Desirable Experience:
Market and industry structure and operation, including regulatory awareness
Technical insurance to Cert CII, or equivalent experience
Working towards CII Diploma level
Sector specific risks and insurance products/solutions
IT literacy in Word, Outlook and Excel (Basic)
Client servicing
Accuracy and thoroughness
FCA - Insurance Conduct of Business Sourcebook
Money laundering/prevention of financial crime
