My Client, one of the largest suppliers to the UK market, is driven by a passion for high quality and pioneering innovation. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer - Electrically or Mechanically biased - to become an effective member of their existing team, working on shift.

The role: Maintenance Engineer

Reactive and Proactive maintenance

Contribute to, and help, implement continuous improvement

Work as part of an effective response team on breakdowns and /or emergency repairs

Be responsible for ensuring daily checks are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner

To ensure all works carried out are compliant with Health and Safety requirements

Take an active role in PPM

Enter planned maintenance on work request forms

Adhoc project work



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Electrically or Mechanically qualified - apprentice served or HNC

Experience of other discipline

Food / Pharma / FMCG Industry experience ideal

Hands on experience in maintenance of Production / packaging lines

Experienced in PPM and breakdowns

Knowledge of various plant / equipment, such as : Bearings, Pumps, Couplings, Pneumatics, Metrology, Electrical systems, Electrical motors, PLC Systems, Drives, Electronics, Process Control, Fault Diagnosis and Safety.

Excellent health and safety awareness

Experienced in routine checks and identification of preventative measures

Able to work unsupervised

Computer literacy in Microsoft office and CMMS

This is a shift role - day & nights
