The Best Connection Ashford Branch is currently seeking a Despatch Packer to work on a temporary to permanent basis for one of our Horticultural client based in Wye, Ashford Kent.
This role will involve working off despatch sheets, making sure that the order picked are correctly placed in line with the delivery codes. Wrapping/packing the products picked and loading them onto the vehicles ready for depatch. This role is physically demanding due to the products and will involve heavy lifting. This role will also involve working partly outdoors in all weather conditions.
The ideal candidate:
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Keen eye for detail
Punctual and reliable
Horticultural knowledge is preferred but not essential
Be able to lift weights over 20kg
Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 but may require you to also work some Saturdays.
The pay rate for this position is £8.72 per hour
With good public transport links, own transport is not essential.
There is a permanent position available after completion of a probationary period.
Our client will be holding interviews week commencing the 20th July with an immediate start preferred.
