HNW Account Handler

Barker Munro is working with a well-established regional insurance broker who is currently recruiting for a High Net Worth broker to join one of their fastest developing accounts.

As an HNW account handler, you will be advising on the insurance requirements of a range of client’s mid and high net worth individuals with considerable personal portfolios. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and retention of the existing account and future growth through new business and portfolio management in accordance with the company set targets whilst managing clients face to face and remotely.

The role includes converting new business inquiries in line with or in excess of company targets, converting renewal business in line with or in excess of company targets and handling incoming and outbound call handling (new and existing clients).

Our client will consider applicants who can demonstrate the ability to converse confidently with clients over the phone whilst they provide full and funded training to Cert CII level. Alongside this key area, you will be able to show your background in Household or HNW insurance as an account handler in broking or possibly consider your CV should you have insurance sales or underwriting exposure.

You will have a proactive "can do" attitude and a flexible approach to work, good interpersonal skills, be numerate, literate, self-motivated and organised, along with the ability to work closely with our panel of specialist insurers.
