Due to an increase in workload, this is a great opportunity for a Lab Technician with a key manufacturing client in the area (non-food) that also offers free on site parking.
The role is initially being presented on a temporary basis for 3 – 6 months and a favourable hourly rate is available, for the right person. The hours of work are likely to be Monday to Friday, either 7am – 3pm or 9am – 5pm with a lunch break.
In terms of the ideal educational background, there is some degree of flexibility, although this could be ideal for a recent graduate with a science related degree who is looking to gain some additional lab based experience or an individual with a relevant Scientific qualification perhaps?
Reporting to the Chemistry Manager and working within a friendly team, the primary purpose of the role is to analyse finished products and raw materials within a manufacturing environment, to the company’s specifications, meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements within Good Control Laboratory Practices (GCLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Analytical Quality Control (AQC) framework.
If you have the skills and knowledge skills we are seeking, please email your CV and suitable applicants will be contacted immediately.
Please be aware interviews will be in line with current Covid 19 government guidelines.
