THE COMPANY

The Raphael Hospital, soon to be re-branded as Hollanden Park Hospital, is an independent hospital, specialising in the neurorehabilitation of adults following traumatic brain injury or neurological disease, for example, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. We pride ourselves on exceptional care and unrivalled facilities, all delivered from our hospital based in a Grade 2 listed building, which is set in scenic and tranquil surroundings on the outskirts of Tonbridge.

Due to ongoing expansion plans, we currently have Registered Nurse (Band 5) vacancies for individuals who are keen to be part of our forward-thinking and progressive service.

WE WILL INVEST IN YOU AND DEVELOP YOU – COME AND TALK TO US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anticipate, respond to, and clinically assess behaviours associated with various neurological health issues.
• Help improve patients’ quality of life by ensuring their needs are met and that each person is always treated with dignity and respect.
• Liaise with relevant healthcare professionals as part of an effective multi-disciplinary approach.
• Formulate and update plans of care and associated risk documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with residents and relatives.
• Take responsibility for personal development and ensure training is up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in nursing (Desirable)
• Professional nursing registration and pin number (Essential)
• Experience of nursing within a neurological service (Desirable)
• Trained in Tracheostomy care (Desirable)
• Trained in PEG feeding care (Desirable)
