TEAM SUPPORT WORKER - EDUCATION

£15,731 (Actual term time only salary, all year round equivalent £18,065)

Permanent position

37.5 hours per week, 08:30 – 16:30 Monday – Friday, Term-Time only* (38 weeks per year plus 5 days training totalling 39 weeks per year)

*You will be required to work up to a maximum of two weeks for the school’s short term break provision if required, for which an extra payment will be made.

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19 in Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

Using your experience of working with children and young people with Additional Educational Needs and Challenging Behaviour, you will work alongside colleagues to support a group of students in a classroom setting.

Awareness of the needs of, and experience of working with children and young people with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviour will be a distinct advantage.
