In the first instance you will be the first point of contact for those wishing to make an insurance claim. You will be taking all the basic information, compiling reports and liaising with third parties to make sure the case file is accurately progressed onto the correct person to deal with their claims. You will need to make sure you are delivering an empathetic service, asking clear, open questions and gaining all the necessary information to correctly pass them on the appropriate team. All whilst implementing good attention to detail and handling pressure calmly.
Additionally you could be dealing directly with the customer service side of things where you will be dealing with queries and questions as necessary. Again if necessary you could be escalating the query to the appropriate team if required.
