To head up the sales /estimating functions of the business and deliver year on year growth.
Key functions include (but not limited to):
- Securing new Key Accounts through promotion of existing service offerings.
- Oversee Account Management of existing Retail and FM accounts, taking personal ownership of top 20 clients/or those with annual spend above an agreed threshold.
- Manage price and specification reviews, along with introduction of other company/group services.
- Develop new sales channels and opportunities.
- Line management of sales & estimating teams, ensuring that clear goals and objectives are set and met.
- Oversee marketing strategy to enhance the success of all campaigns.
The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator, and leader. The job is high profile with prestige clients in the FM and retail markets and the successful applicant will need to be able to negotiate and relate to clients’ staff at a variety of levels.
The job will entail regular contract review meetings with all relevant clients, sometimes accompanied by other team members to facilitate training on client IT, systems, processes etc. The position reports directly and exclusively to the Managing Director with a view to promotion to Director at a future date for the right candidate.
PROFILE:
The successful candidate is likely to be somebody already employed in a property maintenance discipline, not necessarily signage but preferably servicing the retail market via FM service providers. The successful candidate will need to understand the service ethic and the demanding world of retail and FM property maintenance.
LOCATION:
Ideally be located in the South East to be near our head office in Broadstairs, although this is not essential.
