This good comprehensive secondary academy seek a Science teacher for a KS3 or KS4 timetable to start in September 2020. This school is pleased to be able to offer smaller class sizes allowing teachers more time to specialise learning and less administrative work.

This job will focus on KS3 Science but could specialise in Biology, chemistry or Physics at KS4 for able teachers. With no KS5 available here most students move on to nearby colleges for A-Level courses.

This secondary academy has a good reputation and is proud to have very little behavioural challenges. Students are typically engaging and enjoy school and Science in particular. This school has a wide ranging enrichment programme ensuring that learning is not centred on exam results but rather on developing young adults with a good knowledge of the world.

In order to be considered for this Science Teacher role you must have:

* A good understanding of the Science curriculum at KS3 or KS4
* An ability to inspire mixed ability classes
* An ability to innovate in the classroom and stretch every student
* Knowledge of the newest and most up to date curriculum and teaching pedagogies
