We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator with a mechanical bias to work within a growing company based in Ashford.
Your role will involve:
* Overseeing machinery setup;
* Load material into machines;
* Cut, grind, or drill materials in machine as needed;
* Perform work by following the company's operating standards;
* Regularly inspect machines for mechanical and safety issues;
* Maintain and update record.
Skills and qualifications:
* Education through apprenticeship or technical program;
* Production experience;
* Computer skills;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Safety mindset;
* Problem-solving skills;
* Mechanical talent;
* Physical stamina.
The specific machinery will include an EMCO machine with Seimens programmer and some training can be given to the successful person. Your experience of working in a similar role and sector will be more relevant.
Day Shift Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 and Friday 08.00 - 16.30
After initial selection a telephone interview will be offered before moving to any face to face process. This role could start immediately due to increased workload.
