We are currently working with a leading National Financial Services provider.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced HR and L&D Manager to join their team initially working from home and then based in the office on the outskirts of Maidstone.
The HR and L&D Manager will be responsible for:
- Operational management of HR team comprised of Adviser and Assistants
- Accountable for the successful execution of all ER issues (disciplinaries/grievances//downsizing)
- Act as Superuser and System Administrator for the SelectHR HRIS
- Build and advise on L&D initiatives to support the business and deliver results
- Drive employee engagement through learning and development. Be involved in delivering the talent management principles including 9 box grid, succession planning and Career Pathway
- Responsibility for ongoing development and use of Broker Assess, including compulsory compliance modules and CPD records,
- Oversee all qualifications and ensure reports are up to date
- Maintain all qualification records so they can be analysed and reported on
- Deliver the performance review process and train managers on it. Manage the standard and quality of performance reviews by running regular audits
- Responsibility for keeping the L&D section of the intranet up to date
- Responsibility for the apprenticeship programme and the main contact with the providers, oversee the apprenticeship levy and making sure it is spent effectively
- Co-ordinate the delivery of the Career Pathway and the training calendar
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an HR/L&D management role (eg 3 - 8 in team)
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified
- Strategy and design of L&D plans
- Facilitation/training delivery
- Good IT skills
Hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
