Our client, an entrepreneurial business based in Mid Kent, is currently looking to recruit a Part Time Financial Controller to work 2-3 days a week. Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a small team you will manage accounts production and build strong business partnering relationships with the operations team. Key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the Management accounts (P&L`s, Balance Sheets and Cash flow statements) are prepared on a timely basis for all of the groups companies
- Play a key role in all Statutory accounts preparation and liaising with auditors
- Ensure strong financial controls are implemented and adhered to
- Completion of monthly payroll and statutory returns
- Completion of VAT returns, CIS, EC Sales lists and National Statistics returns
- Provide detailed MI, variance analysis & commentary
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure key customer and supplier relationships are maintained
- Provide value add analysis to assist the team in making optimal business decisions and be able to provide suggestions and challenge where appropriate
- Drive the budgeting/forecasting processes with timely and accurate information and develop an in-depth understanding of the key business drivers
- Provide key support for all new projects and their execution and provide any ad-hoc analysis

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Finalist with the ability to manage a team and effectively business partner with Senior Management.
