We are supporting one of our trusted key clients in the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor that is keen to join a fast paced, growing manufacturing business based in the Medway area. This key appointment will see the successful person provide HR services to the business, under the supervision of the HR Manager. These duties will include:
* End-to-end recruitment including review of costs/strategy and methods/job description review;
* Induction/on boarding/exit process;
* HR record keeping including training records/H&S and development of HR system;
* Data and trend analysis;
* Advice and guidance to departments and managers / support HRM with investigations and disciplinary;
* Update HR legislation and develop policies with HRM;
* Support across a range of ER and performance issues;
* Support with payroll process.
* And other areas to be detailed in line with the level or role and needs of the business.
Qualities and Skills:
* CIPD qualified - preferred;
* Organisational and administrative skills;
* Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff;
* Hands-on experience with IT programs and HR systems;
* Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business;
* The ability to work on own initiative and a self-starter;
* Coaching and training skills;
* Ability to apply company policies in day-to-day role;
* Driven and determined;
* Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly.
Experience:
* Proven work experience within a generalist role as an HR Advisor or similar;
* Solid experience of managing high volume recruitment;
* Experience of advising on ER and absence management issues;
* Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Knowledge:
* An excellent working knowledge of employment legislation.
