The Human Resources and Organisational Development (HR&OD) Department has a key role to play in taking forward both the University Strategic Framework and People Strategy.

Working with managers and colleagues at every level of the organisation, the HR Advisor team support the realisation of our strategic aims through the delivery of high quality, professional, responsive and pragmatic HR advice and support, to enable the effective management and deployment of staff.

The Role

This role offers an opportunity for someone seeking to develop their HR career through exposure to a broad range of employee relations and organisational development challenges.


The Person

You will be fully CIPD-qualified (or part-qualified with a commitment to achieving full accreditation), and with proven experience of supporting complex employee case work and of providing policy advice and guidance to both managers and staff. You will also have good negotiating, presentation and coaching skills, and the ability to understand and interpret numerical data.
