Chatham Grammar, part of the University of Kent Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a strategic, motivated and forward-thinking individual for the role of Site and Facilities Manager, who will have overall responsibility for the Academy site and facilities in order to provide a safe, efficient and effective learning environment. The Site and Facilities Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety and will manage a team of site and cleaning staff.
Since joining the University of Kent Academies Trust, the Chatham Grammar site has been transformed with up-to-date technology, decorating and maintenance works. It is an exciting time to join us - the successful candidate will have a key role in continuing this transformation by developing a scheduled programme of maintenance and development of our site. Your first project would be to oversee the building of a new £2.4m classroom block, with works beginning this year. The Academy is a popular venue for the community, with lettings and events taking place most days of the week and during school closure periods.
