Leisure Travel Sales Consultant

A successful travel business is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our passionate and driven leisure travel team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling personalised tailor-made travel itineraries to a wide range of clients, covering worldwide destinations.

Responsibilities:
• Daily allocation of enquires to qualify and quote, either on the phone, via email or in person
• Maintain excellent customer service levels at all times
• Perform consistently and reach and exceed sales and conversion targets set
• Produce engaging, informative and sales driven quotes, add value and uphold our brand guidelines
• Assist the administration team by loading bookings and dealing with queries and amendments
• Take part in an out of hours call rota (usually one week per month)
• Occasional weekend/evening work may be required on a fair rota basis

The right person will be performance driven, organised, able to multi-task and solve problems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and GDS experience. You will also have a proven sales track record coupled with expertise in tailor-made travel. Previous experience in the travel industry and strong destination knowledge covering popular locations is essential.
