Production Operative

Broadstairs

£8.21 Per Hour

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Broadstairs, are currently looking for a Production Operative on a temporary basis. There is a possibility this role will become permanent for the right candidate.

Working in a busy and demanding factory environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient production of all orders, ensuring a high quality for finished goods leaving the factory.

The working hour for this role are Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 9am - 2pm, at an hourly rate of £8.21 (which will increase to £8.72 on the 1st April 2020).

Duties & Responsibilities

* To ensure that all orders are despatched in accordance with promised delivery dates
* To inform management of day-to-day progress of orders and any problems that occur
* To help in all aspects of factory production when needed
* To work in a safe manner according to the Health and Safety at Work Act

Personal Specification

* Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Must have a good understanding of measurements and angles
* Must be reliable, a fast learner and able to work to high quality standards
