Asset Manager
Dover based
£45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Interpersonnel Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our client as an Asset Manager.
The purpose of this role is to lead the development, implementation and operation of effective asset management systems across the business. The role is also about leading and developing people’s understanding and competence in asset management.
For this role you will need an engineering background with good working knowledge of maintenance, operation, design, and construction of multi-disciplinary assets. You will have experience of developing, implementing and operating:
• Strategic and tactical asset management plans
• Maintenance plans in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Asset information/document management systems
• Asset risk management systems
• ISO 55001 – Asset Management systems
• You will have working experience from an organisation with ‘mature’ asset management systems in place.

Duties of the Post Holder
• To grow asset management maturity across the business by implementing a developed ‘asset management roadmap’
• To develop, implement and operate strategic asset management plans
• To develop, implement and operate tactical asset management plans
• To lead the development of ‘good practice’ maintenance plans
• To develop, implement and operate asset information/document management systems
• To develop, implement and operate an asset risk management system
• To lead the identification, implementation and operation of new asset management tools
• To perform the role of Line Leader within the Department including setting objectives, undertaking performance reviews, creating training plans, managing leave, providing support and advice to the team members.
• To manage the business’ CAD and land/building surveying resource

Generic Duties
Any other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor from time to time. Such duties will be reasonable in relation to the jobholder’s skills, abilities and status.
• If required undertake a suitable role in the business’ emergency management team.
• To comply with environmental instructions and to identify potential risks to the environment, or areas where environmental impact can be reduced.
• To identify and manage risks, particularly those which affect safety, and to ensure that all tasks under your control are performed with the utmost regard for health and safety. To facilitate effective communication on risk and safety issues between the team and senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Batchelor’s degree in Engineering
• Membership and engagement with the Institute of Asset Management or equivalent
• A demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety Legislation
• Demonstrable knowledge of reliability centre maintenance
• Full driving licence and use of own transport
