An exciting opportunity has arisen at CCL Label (Ashford) Limited, the global leader of print and packaging media, for the position of Variable Coding Operator. This will be a full time role.

The purpose of the job is:

• To undertake the variable coding and verification of labels.
• To ensure accurate and consistent printed variable coded labels are produced in line with production schedules.
• To comply with operating procedures, working practices and cGMP.
• To monitor maintain appropriate stock levels in line with customer order levels.
• To ensure smooth flow and identification of materials to cGMP expectations.
• To recommend/facilitate process Improvements in all areas.
• To support pharmaceutical inspection Dept.

The tasks, duties and responsibilities are:

• Liaison / Communication between Production, Quality, Customer Support
• Print and verify the variable coding on labels ensuring it conforms to customer requirements.
• Resolve potential issues that may arise relating to quality, dispatch and documentation.
• Ensure each job is completed to customer requirements with compliance to procedures and documentation within cGMP expectations.
• Communicate production planning & issues to all departments. Maintain & implement process procedures

The right candidate will be required to plan and manage their own workload, and must be meticulous in their approach to quality and accuracy.
Excellent attention to detail is a must for this role. They must be highly computer literate and able to understand detailed customer requirements.

Good communication skills (written and verbal), and an ability to work under pressure.
